Pretty nice place. It's a shame about the pool and stuff but it's a great site, nice and large with good showers
I've been to carvynick holiday to play badminton before the fire. But my main reason is my daughter goes to gymnastics here which I have also started to do and we love it
Absolutely awful service -Do not book with them absolutely awful company - booked our cottage 31 on booking.com drive 4 hours to get there to see reception have gone home and they have left us keys for a 3 bedroom bungalow .... number 32 - it was last renovated in 1979 by the looks of Decore and the smell - we couldn’t get hold of anyone on the emergency number so rang Sykes cottages call centre they kindly sorted us out a hotel for the night about 30 miles away which wasn’t ideal with our 4 month old daughter but we took it. The next day we spoke to carvyanik who said yeh sorry about that your cottage was double booked we will try find you something else! They then told my husband he was immature when he said that wasn’t good enough and then said they would paint 31 on the door of cottage 28 as it’s the only one they have and he clearly has a problem with numbers! Awful just awful we will be taking them to a small claims court and suing them! They refuse a refund and ruined our holiday we had to return home ! As the manager is the only manager and he knows there is no one to complain too he treats people how he wants! Book but beware any problems and you will not get any sort of help or service that is appropriate
I stayed with my girlfriend over the New Year in a brand new cottage and we both loved it, it was great to stay in a place that's all brand new but the thing that did it for us both was the views from the back of the Cottage. The weather didn't put us off our trip to Cornwall and our New Year, We will be coming back to Carvynick and the staff were great.
Stayed on one of their touring pitches and to be honest it exceeded my expectations. I always book somewhere, arrive and its not what I thought I booked but the pitch at Carvynick ticked all the boxes, decking, picnic table and the view from the south end of the park was excellent, We took our dog and the place had lots and lots of space, I plan on coming back really soon.
