A nice family place but the Staff need to go on a smiling course and cleaners are nose blind. The scotch bloke on reception is as helpfull as clap what a nob .the houses themselves are really nice tho if you go rent from a private tenant

Rated 5 out of 5 by thomas sweeney on 20th January 2019

This place is absolutely incredible. We went at close of season so there was very little people traffic. On the site there is a reception but we didn't ask any help as it wasn't warranted. We had a cottage right on the river esk. And next to the beautiful victorian 13 arch Bridge. We walked over this, along the cinder track to get to Whitby, which was lovely. It took about 30 minutes, but we did have a pram.. We will definitely be back...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alan Burgess on 17th September 2018

A good place to have a relaxing holiday , the staff are friendly and helpful. A nice setting by the river its nice to see the ducks who do the rounds to get breakfast and dinner also good to see wild life on the river fish jumping , herons and once we saw seals swimming down to the harbour. We have been here five times and would recommend it .
