Rated 1 out of 5 by Chris Anderson on 25th February 2019

Hi, on arrival everything looked lovely, but, on closer inspection it was quite dirty the cabin. Great big cobwebs over bed in main bedroom, dust over all surfaces. I had to clean all surfaces in kitchen, hairs in freezer drawer, fridge dirty. And this shower was absolutly disgusting, filthy, with public hairs and weeks if not months of dirt. We had to go out and buy cleaning items to clean it. It took me an hour to clean just the shower. This is not what you need when you arrive for a relaxing, much needed break. We also found on pulling the quilt back to get in bed a dirty sheet with bad stains on it. Which we had to out something over it to sleep. We did ask for it to be changed following morning, but the man was not very happy by the tone of his voice. The managers did not seem at all friendly towards their guests at all. We spoke to a few guests all of which complained about their dirty cabins to us. Shame as it could be a wonderful place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matthew Woodhead on 14th December 2018

Really nice place to visit for a peaceful and relaxing break. Great facilities you couldn't ask for any more in the cabin. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Close enough for a visit to York.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Victoria Wilson on 6th February 2019

An amazingly stunning place and accomodation. Idyllic get away from hectic life. Hot tub was an awesome bonus

Rated 4 out of 5 by Siobhan Swanston on 20th November 2018

We booked the pod, was nice and very very basic. The watercloset (toilet sink and shower) was the size of a small cupboard so my advice would be to not bring huge suitcases to the pod as there is no storage. It was comfortable and nice as a base for going out visiting and exploring. There is only a portable plug in hob, a microwave and a small fridge. The ducks will literally come knocking on the window doors for food every morning. They are very tame but extremely greedy. A lovely experience but as i say,

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alexis Denholm on 25th July 2018

Simply a beautiful area. Peaceful with plenty of wildlife around, make sure you have bird seed. However you can buy it from the camp for a good sized bag for £1. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Even though the pods are in a semi circle, it is very private and not over looking each other.
