We’ve been to Haggerston touring park we’ve visited on numerous occasions and we do love it but it is starting to look extremely tired including the toilet blocks a little revamp would be nice 👍🏼 We visited the chip shop £8 for fish and chips and the fish was 4inch long if that did taste delicious but very small portion wouldn’t fill any of the male members of my family.. and I’d just like to compliment the security staff especially the gentleman on the gate with black hair sorry didn’t get his name always welcomes you with a genuine smile and a genuine welcome back when your holiday is over I also heard him on a busy Monday arrivals asking if everyone new where they were going nice bloke 👍🏼 We will be back no doubt

Whenever i have holidayed here it has been a friendly, family orientated environment. Fabulous for ALL ages, helpful staff. Plenty to do with your days either on site, or maybe a short trip out within a few miles for a few hours or full day. Children quite happy to enjoy a stroll around lake, observing the many ducks, swans etc. Also enjoying a little picnic, or perhaps a choice of fast food from choice on site, this giving parents a well earned rest/break, after all their are on holiday also! (remembering to put any rubbish you accumulate in nearby bins of course!) Quiet, peaceful surroundings always nearby, within a short walk from your holiday home -explore,have fun and enjoy.

Our 4th visit to Haggerston and it has never disappointed us. We had an amazing weekend again, reception staff very friendly and helpful, security in and out of the complex always acknowledged us and the staff on the complex friendly and helpful. Love the new layout and some of the new facilities. Caravan was lovely as always. Will definitely be back and we cant wait to return.

We are just back from haggerston castle yesterday as a party of 3 adults 5 kids. The kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. So we are booking again for September. There is so much to do for the kids.Caravan was fine. Only let down was that the Sunday morning we went to the mash and barrel for breakfast and the breakfast was inedible but that was probably because 3 members of staff hadn’t showed up and we had to wait 20 minutes to get served. Some of the prices we found to be quite expensive with having 3 kids. £20 each for 20 minute pony ride is a bit steep and £15 for a boat. Maybe people would do more of these activities if they didn’t cost as much and that way they would make more money! We just wouldn’t pay £60 for a 20 minute pony ride for 3 kids. Maybe they should look at deals for people with 2 or more kids! Papa johns was lovely as was Burger King. Entertainment was brilliant for the kids especially the magic show on Sunday. All in all we all had a great weekend and would Reccomend but would be even better if the prices for activities came down a bit for pony rides etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gareth Baird on 5th June 2019

Enjoyed the site overall, though the new complex can get pretty hectic. The swimming pool is decent without being outstanding. The kids entertainers are very enthusiastic and great witb the kids. A good amount of activities, though best to book in advance. The new soft play is a good size and free. All areas are well looked after and finished to a decent standard. The caravans are nice. Any problems are dealt with quickly and the majority of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is all fine without being outstandingA few niggles, there is an over emphasis on the arcade gambling machines. The best play park is quite far from the centre and not overly advertised. Some of the security guards seem to think they are guarding fort Knox. Also there is no WiFi available in the caravans, just in the complex, this isn't the end of the world but is a bit odd in this day and age.Overall a nice park, especially for families. Up
