Rated 4 out of 5 by Denise Macintyre on 14th July 2019

Not long back from a weeks stay.Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews.Stayed in a chalet with hot tub. It had everything you needed for a short stay, the kids loved using the hot tub, we had barbecues a few times as the weather was great. It was also dog friendly which was why we decided to go here. The day time and evening entertainment wasn't too bad, just what you expect at these places. Staff were very helpful and friendly.Silloth was a 15 minute walk along the coast front, there you can find shops, cafes, takeaways etc, lovely small town.I found this place to be excellent value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Scott Nolan on 30th July 2019

Good facilities but a little packed on a evening probably due to school holidays. Cheap pitches for tents and tourer. Hard to get tent pegs far into the ground other than that not a bad stay also friendly staff.

Rated 2 out of 5 by paul ward on 1st July 2019

The whole place needs a face lift staff were nice but the first night we were there having something to eat we spent most of the night fighting with flies and I looked on the floor and I realized why,the floor was covered in food everywhere but because of the lack of staff no one cleaned it up and you probably think I'm just moaning but the next night was exactly the same food on the floor and I watched an elderly lady put her bag down on the floor realized what had happened and she moved tables whilst in the process of wiping her bag.Apart from that the caravan was nice there is a shop on site that's if you can call it a shop but as you can guess I will not be going back to that park again.been there done that never again

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andrew Suart on 3rd August 2019

Mick and Michelle helped us out so much when the car battery died. They with there own car put some jump leads on and after around 10mins got it started. They went out of there way to help us on the camp site. Thank you so much

Rated 5 out of 5 by Viv Hayden on 28th April 2019

Solway is great. Compared with some parks it’s 5 star. Very clean and tidy . New plants and trees starting to grow. All well maintained. Lots to do and great base to walk or explore the Lakes. Had a trip to Scotland as well. Staff and facilities, especially swimming pool are excellent. It’s not “The Ritz” but great for what it is .stunning value. Kids love it .All arcade machines working. Bar and shop good stock and value. Definitely will return
