Rated 5 out of 5 by Jo Ripley on 18th March 2019

We recently had the most amazing weekend in one of the Darwin lodges to celebrate our anniversary, and unknown to me our engagement! 💍 The lodge itself was everything we had hoped for and more! They really have thought of everything!! The afternoon tea was the best we’ve had, and delivered to our lodge! Lovely friendly staff! Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway, and pure relaxation! The gale force winds and snow didn’t even ruin it for us! It will always have a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to return soon!! Maybe a summer trip next time 😊 x

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carl Platt on 7th January 2019

These Lodges are the ultimate in contemporary, luxury living. We stayed for 7 nights over Christmas 2018 in Wellington 5. As soon as you drive upto the lodges, you are greeted by a golf course on one side and lake on the other. Each lodge on the country estate is secluded and has fantastic countryside views. The Lakeside restaurant which is alongside the 9th hole serves good, home cooked food in pleasant surroundings. All staff in the restaurant, on the golf course and that clean the lodge/treat the Jacuzzi are friendly and helpful. The lodges are well located for open countryside walks or are within short driving distances to many of the Lake District attractions and west coastline of Silloth. We highly recommend the North Lakes Lodges!

Really clean and upscale, really peaceful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark Hudson on 27th December 2018

Superb accommodation although beds were uncomfortable but everything else very good. .I felt the restaurant was overpriced and the decor was dated but food was OK.
