After just returning from the most relaxing few days staying in these lodges I wish we had booked longer! They are sparkling clean and have fantastic facilities . Especially the BBQ and hot tub, just what you need after a wonderful day hiking! Great shower and comfortable bed. Can’t recommend enough , thank you

Spotlessly clean lodge. We stayed in country lodge number 64 thirlmere. Cant fault it at all. Staff friendly and polite. Fantastic location. One word of warning though be prepared for files and midges in the summer months so take insect repellent and fly spray

Lovely site, the lake is beautiful.. And the RAF fly right over in there bombers and hurricanes putting on a great displays, children love it. Lots of beautiful birds everywhere.

Dower House. Beautiful house in stunning countryside. Clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Sun Inn in Bassenthwaite very cosy and welcoming and Sunday lunch was gorgeous.
