Rated 5 out of 5 by John S on 29th March 2019

Lime tree is a good quality and family friendly camp site. Close enough to Buxton to have gentle walk in to see the sights. Shower and wash facilities available on site and these were always clean and tidy during our stay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nicky Hirst on 7th October 2018

Caravan is lovely and spacious but no freezer compartment in fridge and small TV with no coffee table for drinks, if being picky. Bed made up on arrival. No welcome pack but were loo rolls. Quiet site. No entertainment, pool etc just laundry and a room with pool table and kids books (free WiFi here only). Good position. Could walk to Buxton in under 30 minutes but path narrow (only one person wide) so a bit scary at night as lots of cars and you'd not walk a family down the road if you had small children.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Taheera Hajee on 11th July 2018

Like my rating, I absolutely loved it! We pitched a tent in the tent area and spent about 2 nights there (it was 3 years ago 😂) but I CLEARLY remember how well located it was- we were able to walk to Buxton and Poole Cavern, and we also hiked up a hill to see the tower. The facilities at the campsite were also fantastic- clean toilets and showers, a children’s playground and an outdoor sink to wash up your cooking utensils. They had a little games room where you could borrow board games or just hang out. Beautiful grounds for camping and some stunning vistas all around❤️ We loved our stay and I’d definitely go back! 😊

Rated 3 out of 5 by Michael Cottam on 10th September 2018

Lime Tree Park was on a very busy narrow lane which should be one way if the local council got it right. The camp itself catered mainly for long term mobile homes and we felt they paid lip service to tourers. The amenities were clean but poorly lit and very busy due to the lack of toilets and sinks. We won't be going back. for a future visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dave pears on 8th July 2018

Great campsite, have visited on a number of occasions and always found the staff very friendly and helpful. Shower block always spotless, especially like listening to Peak radio when having a shower. Nice 15-20 minute walk in to town. Will definitely be going back.
